The Oakroom Restaurant

Eight Bells offers a beautifully appointed dining room,  The Oakroom Restaurant for your dining pleasure. Sticking with our old-world charm, we still use genuine silver cutlery and crisp white tablecloths and serviettes. All meals are served at  the tables as we do not do buffet-style meals except for the self-service continental-style breakfast buffet portion of our comprehensive English Breakfast served every morning  between 07:00 and 10:00.

Following tradition we ring the bell promptly at 19:00 every evening announcing that dinner is ready to be served. The Oakroom Restaurant is then elegantly set for the evening dinner and guests are welcome to come through for dinner served until 21:30. We offer a full a la carte menu plus a set menu when there are more than ten guests booked.  We also offer a comprehensive wine list with some excellent local wines and firm favourites from vineyards further a field.

Other dining options include our Indoor Sun Patio, Garden  Terrace and Tea Garden for all day teas, beverages and light meals throughout the day.

There is also a service telephone located at the swimming pool for guests needing drinks or snacks whilst enjoying the sun and water.
